Kendra Bannish, CPA, CMA
Treasurer
Hailing from East Selkirk, Kendra brings a deep appreciation for the arts and a professional background in financial management to her role as Treasurer of the Selkirk & District Arts Festival. Growing up, Kendra sang in church alongside her sisters, accompanied by their music-loving mom. Her home was always alive with music, and she expanded her artistic journey by playing alto and baritone saxophone in high school. Recently, she reignited her passion for music by joining the Selkirk Community Choir in September 2024.
Kendra joined the Board to connect with her community and give back to a cause that resonates deeply with her. As the mother of a passionate teenage tenor saxophonist, she understands the vital role local opportunities play in nurturing artistic talent. She is dedicated to helping the festival create a platform where young and seasoned artists alike can share their passion and creativity close to home.
